At JVD, we are reinventing the traditional model by moving from simple consumption of new products to a more sustainable approach that extends the lifespan of our equipment. This initiative improves our environmental impact while offering professionals high-quality, refurbished solutions that respect both the planet and the future.
MISSION #2 – Promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities
We make a strong choice to combine our environmental commitment with a social approach. In partnership with ESAT, we offer people with disabilities the opportunity to develop valuable new skills through training in refurbishing our products. This initiative actively supports their professional integration and contributes to creating value for everyone.
MISSION #3 – A 100% collective project
Reborn by JVD is also a project driven collectively by several internal departments — from the design office to production, including quality and marketing — to ensure its visibility and impact. We also work hand in hand with an ESAT, involving people with disabilities in the refurbishing process, and with external partners to recover hand dryers that have already had a first life, in support of an inclusive and local circular economy.

Reborn by JVD is JVD’s refurbishment programme for professional equipment. We collect end-of-life devices, fully refurbish them in our workshops in France, and return them to service with renewed performance and reliability.
The programme mainly covers JVD professional hand dryers and air purifiers manufactured in France. Only devices that are technically refurbishable and structurally sound are eligible for refurbishment.
Yes. Every Reborn product is tested, inspected and validated, and is supplied with a JVD manufacturer warranty.
Each device undergoes a full diagnostic, is repaired if required, thoroughly cleaned, tested and approved according to JVD quality standards in our workshop in Rezé, France.
Yes. Reborn products are designed and refurbished to meet the requirements of professional washrooms in offices, hotels, restaurants, schools and public buildings.
