At JVD, we are convinced of the role we must play for our shared future. That’s why environmental responsibility is now one of the core pillars of our strategy. From design and manufacturing to transport, use, after-sales service, and recycling — every detail counts.
A commitment that’s worth its weight in gold
We’ve chosen Made in France, with equipment developed and produced in our factories in Nantes (Loire-Atlantique) and Aix-les-Bains (Savoie). This expertise allows us to ensure top-tier quality, greater responsiveness, and a reduced environmental footprint by limiting supply chains. At JVD, we stand for:
- Equipment made from recycled materials
- Durable solutions that lower carbon footprints
- Advanced eco-design for long-lasting products
- Refurbished products that get a second life

JVD, a socially engaged company

JVD’s 2025 CSR report
For several years, we’ve been working to reduce our environmental footprint. The 2025 CSR report serves as a progress update, a tool for analysis, and a guide for our future actions.
Our priorities:
- Social and human: workplace wellbeing, inclusion…
- Local and ethical focus: civic and social engagement
- Environment: reducing our carbon footprint, eco-design…
Our sustainable approach
For more than 40 years, JVD has been committed to taking care of you, your clients, and the planet.

Raw materials and suppliers
Whenever possible, we work with local partners near our manufacturing site to reduce the environmental impact of transport. We maintain expertise and encourage supplier innovation.

Manufacturing
All waste is sorted and sent to treatment and recycling centers. Packaging from our suppliers is reused, and shredded paper is used as protective filling for shipments.

Logistics and packaging
Our packaging serves a dual purpose: protecting the product and acting as an installation guide. This helps reduce our carbon footprint with smart, practical solutions.

Fighting planned obsolescence
Our products are designed and tested to be repairable. Spare parts are available for 10 years. We create quality equipment that’s meant to last and perform over time.

New: the solidarity commitment program
As part of JVD’s CSR project, several employees have the opportunity to volunteer during working hours with an association of their choice. In 2025, three employees jointly committed to the Providenti’elles association.
In practical terms, the employees concerned spend half a day per month working for the chosen charity, without loss of pay, sharing their time and helping others.
JVD & Circular Economy: The Reborn by JVD Project
Through its REBORN project, JVD is committed to a more sustainable world by refurbishing its end-of-life products. Driven by a dedicated team, this initiative extends the lifespan of equipment while actively involving people with disabilities, combining expertise with social and environmental responsibility.
