The Smart HEPA Filter of the Shield Compact has a lifespan of approximately 4,000 hours, which is over one year of use at 8 hours per day. Once this threshold is reached, the device automatically alerts you when it’s time to replace the filter, ensuring continuous optimal air quality.

Usage
Shield technology is smart and adapts to the size of the room. For optimal protection, activate CONTINUOUS mode to treat your environment for 8 hours. In case of unusual events (strong odors or high contamination risks), activate BOOST mode for intensive treatment of the room.

For the Shield
The duration of BOOST mode depends on the selected room size:

At the end of the BOOST cycle, the Shield automatically returns to the mode it was in before activation. For example:

However, in particularly demanding environments—such as areas with strict hygiene requirements, persistent odors, or high occupancy—it is entirely possible to run the device continuously 24/7 for permanent air purification.
The Shield operates completely autonomously: once started in CONTINUOUS mode, it purifies the air for 8 hours. At the end of this cycle, and to save energy, the device automatically switches to standby. You don’t need to do anything—the Shield takes care of everything.
The Shield will treat the entire room volume during its purification cycle. However, furniture and the layout of your space can reduce optimal air circulation. It is therefore recommended to place the device in a central position in the room.

It is recommended to clean the screen and cover every month using a microfiber cloth at regular intervals. Also, remember to vacuum the air intake and exhaust grilles.
Under normal usage conditions, our device requires no maintenance for 3 years. After these three years, simply replace the Core. In case of intensive use, an indicator light will notify you when it’s time to change the Core.
