Architects & Designers

Equipements designed for your projects

The projects you design must balance aesthetics with real-life constraints: high traffic, maintenance, resistance, safety and accessibility. In public buildings (ERP), offices, hotels, cultural venues, infrastructure sites or healthcare facilities, washroom equipment and hygiene solutions must integrate seamlessly and stay reliable every day. The goal: preserve the architectural intent while ensuring a smooth, compliant user experience in public spaces.

To make selection and integration easier, we design equipment built to last and easy to operate: controlled design, logical placement, optimised maintenance and consistent performance. Supported by our engineering office and R&D, our solutions are developed to fit into the building’s architecture, even under intensive use, within a responsible approach from design to product lifetime.

Trends & Needs

Today, professional washrooms are no longer only about performance: they contribute to a place’s coherence and perceived experience. Materials, lighting, taps and fittings, furniture—every choice matters. Therefore, equipment must integrate without visual breaks and meet the same aesthetic standards as the rest of the project.

With this in mind, we develop solutions designed for professional environments: controlled lines, consistent finishes and easier integration, while meeting on-site constraints (standards, durability, maintenance, safety, intensive use). The 2026 Colour Collection supports this evolution with three contemporary shades, Mineral Blue (RAL 5003), Sage Green (RAL 6021) and Terra Cotta (RAL 3012), to bring more freedom to washroom and common-area design.

Design at the heart of our products

Design is a complete design-and-engineering lever: it structures thinking around use, ergonomics, placement and coherent integration in public washrooms and public spaces. For architects and designers, this means washroom equipment created to dialogue with the site’s architecture (volumes, materials, finishes), while meeting public-building constraints: traffic, safety, accessibility, standards and intensive use.

This requirement translates into equipment built to last and easy to operate: logical placement, optimised maintenance and consistent performance. Backed by our technical expertise, R&D and engineering office, our ranges adapt to project constraints, with architectural project support to secure choices and integration.

Bringing perspectives together to design better

Design is also an innovation driver. It strengthens the relationship with the user and guides usage so the product naturally finds its place in the space. That’s why we collaborate with École de design Nantes Atlantique. We combine the expertise of experienced designers with the fresh view of emerging talents. As a result, approaches evolve—without stereotypes.

Moreover, this method goes beyond pure functionality. It relies on a 360° approach: guest experience, ease of cleaning, operational constraints and environmental impact. For example, a forward-looking project carried out with the school explores the equipment and uses shaping the hotel room of tomorrow. Then, concepts are challenged with industry players and matured with our engineering office.

Custom design solutions

Our bespoke offer supports architectural projects: delivering custom design solutions that respect the identity of a place while meeting operating realities. Colours, finishes, range consistency and product readability in the space, our goal is controlled integration in washrooms, circulation areas and public spaces, aligned with the architectural concept.

Personalisation also includes thinking about placement, ergonomics and use: accessibility, comfort, positioning aligned with user flows and site constraints. Design becomes a project tool—serving both performance and user experience.

In public buildings (ERP), municipalities, stations, airports, transport networks and other high-traffic sites, constraints multiply: safety, vandalism, reduced maintenance, service continuity, and regulatory/technical requirements. Our approach helps secure ERP equipment specification by offering solutions adapted to standards and intensive use, with a focus on durability and consistent performance.

This commitment is based on technical expertise and concrete support: placement recommendations, configuration choices, optimised maintenance and long-term reliability. The result: bespoke public washrooms combining aesthetic integration, controlled technical constraints and durable performance.

Built-in solutions: discreet integration, intensive use

Built-in solutions meet a clear objective: control placement and reduce the product footprint in the space. They are especially relevant where traffic is dense. Indeed, wall constraints, passage zones and the user route must remain fluid. As a result, built-in systems often make sense in ERP and public spaces.

In highly exposed environments (transport, stations, airports, municipalities), built-in integration brings practical benefits. First, it improves protection and limits impact risks. Next, it makes cleaning easier with simpler-to-maintain surfaces. Finally, it delivers a “clean” integration into the building fabric, designed for intensive use, including aesthetically integrated built-in hand dryers.

Shield: professional air purifier

Shield illustrates a use-led design approach. Beyond aesthetics, the design focuses on comfort, integration and impact in public-facing areas. Therefore, it contributes to healthier, more pleasant environments: air quality, perceived ambience and coherent layout. In addition, it integrates discreetly into offices, hospitality spaces and public areas.

Furthermore, the Shield combines clean design with performance-driven engineering to meet professional project requirements. The range was designed with Ramy Fischler and received the Janus de l’Industrie Award. This recognition highlights the coherence between intent, use and integration. Finally, it confirms that contemporary design can support durability and user experience.

Adesign: the detail that changes everything

In hospitality, perception is shaped by details. First, bathroom accessories, bins and storage structure the experience. Then, design hospitality trays become a marker of welcome and perceived quality. With Adesign by JVD, you create a coherent atmosphere from guest rooms to common areas.

Moreover, the range is designed for professional use. It combines aesthetics, functionality and durability, with easy maintenance. As a result, you standardise a concept across multiple rooms while keeping a premium finish. Finally, high-end hospitality trays help unify the property’s signature—without compromising operations.

BIM Library

To speed up design and secure placement, several of our references are available in 3D as BIM objects. Add our hand dryers to your digital model to validate decisions early (dimensions, positioning, clearance constraints) during the design phase.

This library also improves coordination between architects, engineering offices and contractors: clearer exchanges and better anticipation of technical constraints. Files are available on BIMobject for fast download and integration.

A committed French manufacturing approach

We develop and assemble part of our solutions in France, with consistent requirements for quality, reliability and follow-up. This proximity ensures better control of standards, more responsive availability and a more responsible approach.

Choosing JVD means opting for equipment built to last, designed for demanding environments, and driven by continuous improvement.
