Committed to innovation and the exploration of hotel design trends, JVD once again partnered with the Accor Design Awards 2025. This edition will be remembered for a unique achievement: L’École de design Nantes Atlantique claimed the top three positions in the international hotel design competition, an unprecedented performance that confirms the school’s excellence and international influence.
The award ceremony took place during the Maison&Objet trade show in Paris, a key event bringing together young designers from around the world. As a long-standing partner, JVD is proud to support this event, which highlights creative and sustainable projects serving innovation in the hospitality sector.
Visionary concepts awarded at the Accor Design Awards 2025
Since 2016, the Accor Design Awards have challenged emerging design talents every year. For this 9th edition, organized in partnership with Novotel and WWF France, participants were asked to imagine a sustainable hotel room that reduces carbon footprint while actively protecting the oceans.
More than 100 teams from 20 schools across 11 countries took part, but it was the students from Nantes who truly stood out:
🥇 First Prize: Polé, Polé by Coline Robilliart and Corentin Rolland
🥈 Second Prize: Chowa by Nora Chaumont and Fanny Monteyne
🥉 Third Prize: Rosae by Erwan Loirat and Chloé Maudet
